It is the gift that will allow the council to continue to provide programs that will help girls and young women realize their dreams and become tomorrow's leaders. Through your generosity, they will grow into active and engaged members of our communities and develop to their full potential in business, sports, government, science, education, and the arts.

(Juliette Gordon Low was the founder of the Girl Scouts.)

In 1914 when money was needed, Juliette Gordon Low sold her pearls to raise money. "Jewels are not important," she said, "but the Girl Scouts are."
