What's New!
Linking Girls to the Land
Through an in-kind collaboration with the U.S. Department of Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service and other federal natural resource agencies, an 11 minute promotional video was produced in 2002. The video is now avaliable for online viewing.
Rally the VOTE!
Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines is hosting a statewide youth congress September 20th in Raleigh. “Democracy is Not a Spectator Sport.”
Gold Award Workshop
The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award in Girl Scouting that Girl Scouts grades 9-12 can earn. It represents a girl’s commitment to herself and to her community, as she focuses on leadership, career exploration, personal challenges, and completing a lasting project that will benefit her community.
Law of the Month
We encourage our troop leaders and advisors to plan activities that highlight the “Law of the Month.”
Girl Leadership Team
This is your opportunity to make the most of what you have learned. The Girl Leadership Team (TEAM) plans, budgets, and implements two younger Girl Scout events each year. The proceeds from these two events goes into the TEAM’s account. The TEAM decides how best to use these funds. It’s girl leadership at it’s best. That’s right! YOU are in control and YOU are answerable, accountable, and responsible. That’s right, YOU! Talk and share with other girls in grades 6-12.
