Home > Living The Law PatchFor Daisy, Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts and Girls 11-17 The 'Living the Law' program is a series of activities emphasizing the ten parts of the Girl Scout Law. 'Living the Law' is designed to invite each girl and adult Girl Scout to reconnect to the values that renew and affirm the foundation of the Girl Scout program. Let us aspire to reach and teach 'Living the Law' to Every Girl Everywhere. The Girl Scout Law should be said at each troop/group meeting following the Girl Scout Promise. "Say It, Mean It, Live It!"The 'Living the Law' program begins with a pledge for the Girl Scout to sign. Explain that a pledge is an agreement and that by signing the Girl Scout has given her word of honor to uphold these ideals. "Do It!"Each month you will have 'Living the Law' activities for each age level. Activity plans are available at your Service Unit meetings or contact your Membership Manager. Choose one activity for each part of the Girl Scout Law, (example: choose one activity from Honest and one activity from Fair). At the end of the ten-month program each participant will have earned a 'Living the Law' patch. 'Living the Law' patches are available for purchase in the Council Shop. |
